The 2025 Starsky & Hutch advent calendar is open!

Running from December 1-24, the Starsky & Hutch advent calendar is 24 days of fandom holiday fun.

That fabulous artwork above was created by Suzan, who’s been designing the advent calendar covers, page backgrounds and banners for the past several years.

Like a traditional advent calendar, a new numbered “door” will open each day (just after midnight) to reveal its gifts. But unlike the advent calendars you can buy at bookstores and other places, this advent calendar is free and completely online, so it doesn’t come with chocolate, sorry! But it does come with lots of Starsky & Hutch (and Huggy and Dobey, too), which is better than chocolate anyway!

You’ll find a wealth of gifts behind each door, including fics, vids, songs, puzzles, art and more. The gifts are a mixture of slash and gen, and each gift is marked as such. Some fics are long–but not too long, because we’re all extra busy this month. And some fics are really, really short–consider them like a stocking stuffer! Some gifts are happy fluffy while others are angsty nailbiters! But not too angsty–it’s the holidays, after all.

But one thing you definitely won’t find behind any of the doors is a fanwork containing major character death–those are banned this month–the real world is depressing enough. And we want our guys to live happily ever after!

The one thing all the gifts have in common is that they’ve been created especially for the advent calendar and have not been published anywhere else online until now.
